We are rounding out the last week in June and I am beginning to wonder "will we ever have a summer?" The weather has been cloudy and rainy. Generally it stays around 70, so it isn't miserable but it isn't summer, either. I was going to attach a picture of the 5 day forecast showing rain followed by partly-cloudy followed by rain, but it's just too depressing.
My co-workers assure me that this isn't normal. That there really will be a summer from July to August. We'll see.
In the meantime, the kids and I are pretending it is summer with a little ice cream. Despite Esme's great training, Auden doesn't quite have the hang of it yet.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds familiar. If its any consolation, when summer does come, it will be AWESOME and you'll totally MAXIMIZE those days. (When it gets into the 80's here San Francisco freaks out. Its pretty fun.)
